Our softball team had a tough season, not able to win a single game. But each game, each loss, we gained more knowledge and we improved greatly over the season. We had a few close games, and always remained positive. As a team, we always respected the game and the opponent. We learnt from each play and each error, and at the end of the season, our defence was able to compete against the top teams.

We started off as a big team with 40 students trying out. Mr. Naylor gave each of us an opportunity to play, and we always supported each other. Our team had great spirit and each player made an impact on the team. We are excited about next season, and showing everyone how much we improved this season.

As a famous football coach once said “If you can't accept losing, you can't win”. Go Huskies!
