Halloween Dance. A Student Council Report.
By Reese Sliworsky, Grade 5 Student and Primary School Student Council President -
On 29 October, Grade 4, 5 and 6 students celebrated Halloween with a fabulous dance organised by the Student Council.
I think it's safe to say “Mission Succeeded”. We had the PTA selling food and everyone dancing to the beats of DJ Michael Black (Grade 4 Teacher). It was a great opportunity for groups of friends to hang out and a great first dance for the 4th graders. There was no limit on the creativity put into some of the costumes.
The fun didn't stop there though. The dance floor was on fire as we had a competition to see who could bust the best move. DJ Black didn't cease to amaze anyone either. Everyone was dancing to most of the latest hit songs and even some classics from Michael Jackson.
The smoke machine really made an impact on the environment when it made the haze level over 100 PSI!
